BORDER DOG TRAINING SERVICES
PAUL AND WENDY BEASLEY
With over 70 years of combined experience of competitive dog training we are happy to share our knowledge and hope to be of assistance to you.

Paul
I have owned and worked Border Collies in both obedience and working trials for 30+ years.
Qualifying up to TDEX and PDEX in trials, I have also been a regular competitor in the unique civilian Canine Biathlon, and have taken part in all but one between 1995 and 2005.
I am the only competitor to have competed with three different dogs, and have been lucky enough to win it five times and have never been unplaced.

Wendy
I started out with Boxers, owning my first one at the age of 12.
After breeding, showing and working this breed for several years I became interested in Border Collies, and have owned, worked and bred them for the past 40 years; working up to Championship C level in Obedience competition, and qualifying dogs up to TDEX/PDEX in working trials.
With ten PD tickets and ten PD reserves, my Working Trial Champion Bridgalpine Libra of Stardell, Libby, who sadly is no longer with us was the highest winning PD bitch of all time, and my recently retired Working Trial Champion Phoebe has six PD tickets and six reserves PD as well as a TD ticket and two reserves.
In addition to this I have also worked a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a GSD, and have established a recognised line of working Border Collies that have been successful both here and in the USA.
I write a regular column on working trials in Dog World and have also written two books.
Paul and Wendy are currently working litter brother and sister Spica and Lunar who have both qualified TDEX at just 3 years old and Lunar won a ticket this year and qualified for the Kennel Club Working Trial Championships.
We have both judged obedience and working trial competitions and have for many years offered training, both on a one to one and club basis, to many different breeds in all aspects of dog behaviour in addition to our Service Dog Training.
